Valentine's Day

　It's February and we know what it all means: VALENTINE'S! This month, the first and second graders played exciting games and made creative crafts. We learned how to say, "I love you." through a gesture game and we made love bugs, too. How do you say, "I love you." in your language?

  ２月のイベントといえば、バレンタインデー！英語で気持ちを伝えるフレーズやゲームを楽しみながら、笑顔いっぱいのレッスンになりました！

My Best Memory

  Students are back from their winter vacation with full batteries, eager to learn and have fun. The first day of the third term was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement. They shared the activities they did during the break through a game and everyone was excited to hear what each one did. The sixth graders created English videos for the students of Nishi Elementary School, sharing their best memories from elementary school!

３学期も黒岩ファングリッシュは楽しく進行中！６年生は、西小学校の６年生と英語のビデオレターを制作・交換し、 英語でつながる楽しさを感じながら交流を深めました！

Christmas Lesson

   This week marked the final Funglish class of the second semester. This semester provided a valuable opportunity to experience not only English but also different cultures through various international events. Enjoy the winter vacation and see you in the third term! Merry Christmas!

   今週で２学期最後のFunglishとなりました。今学期は、海外のさまざまなイベントを通して、子供たちが英語だけでなく異文化にもふれる貴重な時間となりました。３学期も、楽しいFunglishが待っています！メリークリスマス！

GTEC

     Even if they were a little bit nervous, the sixth graders of Kuroiwa bravely took upon the GTEC. Their facial expressions and emotions were a mix of everything but they managed to finish the test while doing their best. You got this everyone! Your hard work will surely pay off.

　６年生は、英語の４技能を測るテスト「GTEC」にチャレンジしました。これまでの６年間、ファングリッシュで積み重ねてきた力を発揮！毎年、このテストは子供たちの大きな励みになっています！

Story Time

　Autumn is the perfect season for reading! Today, the English teachers read a traditional Japanese folktale in English. Students recognized some of the words, and everyone enjoyed the story!

　英語の先生たちが、日本の昔話を英語で読んでくれました！知っている単語がところどころ出てきて、「あ、この言葉分かる！」とうれしくなる場面も。英語で聞く昔話は、いつもと少し違った雰囲気で、とても新鮮でした！
