Restaurant

Have you ever been to a fancy and expensive restaurant?

Our Kzania event today was made extra special when our School Principal dined as one of our guests. He was greeted by our volunteer staff who learned how to take orders and the customers who enjoyed our delicious food, fancy music, and great customer service. Everyone had a great time!

今週のKザニアでは、高級レストランをテーマに、たくさんのシェフとお客さん達でファングリッシュルームが賑わいました。レストランの注文の仕方や、注文の受け方を楽しみながら学ぶことができました。校長先生もお客さんとして参加し、子供たちもとても喜んでました。

Street Foods

Summer is fun with festivals around! The students tried different street foods today from countries such as Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand. They also enjoyed carnival games. There was a long line of children waiting to have fun and learn English this week. Well done, everyone!

お昼休みに、英語の先生たちと楽しむ活動「Kザニア」では、今月は世界の食文化をテーマにしています。先週はALTの出身国であるフィリピンの「ジョリビー」というファーストフード店ごっこをし、今週は世界の屋台を体験しました！初めて見る屋台の食べ物に興味津々な子供たち、日本の屋台の食べものをALTの先生に説明してくれる子もいました！来週は、オシャレなレストランをひらく予定です！お楽しみに

みんな大好き、ロナ先生

Today was bitter sweet as we bid goodbye to our dear ALT, Rona sensei, who was with us for over three years. The Kuroiwa elementary school students gave their presents and letters as they had their last class. We are sure that Rona sensei left a lasting memory to the children as they had given her wonderful things to remember as well. Until we meet again!

本校で約３年半、一緒に英語を勉強したALTのロナ先生が、母国フィリピンへ帰国することになりました。子供たちは、たくさんのプレゼントや感謝の気持ちを、最後までロナ先生に一生懸命伝えていました。ロナ先生、たくさんの素敵な思い出、楽しい英語の授業をありがとうございました！

I'm Happy!!

Today, the second graders learned how to express their feelings by saying, "How are you?"- "I'm happy!" We also played a fun target game and the students tried their best to take down cups with emotions on them. Finally, they showed creativity in making colorful Emotions Flipbook.

２年生が 「How are you?」 「I'm happy!」と、自分の気持ちの表現を学びました。気持ちの絵が描かれたコップを使って、わなげゲームをしたり、カラフルなパラパラ漫画を作ったりして、楽しく練習しました！
